The Theme is TEAM with John Tonkin, Brain in a Box

The best sporting teams train together, work together on the field and celebrate together.  Each player in the team knows their own role and the strengths (and weaknesses) of their teammates.

They step in without needing to be asked to make up for any shortfall, knowing that the outcome will always be better when they play as a team instead of competing as individuals. Their shared values come through in their performance.

Every good team has good people and good systems (think of the game plan, set pieces and favourite moves). We’re going to look at the ways systems can help you build your best team.

Learning Objectives: from this session, you will learn about:

  1. What are the essential items for a team meeting agenda?
  2. Team banter is one thing. List the common indicators that the banter has become too personal?
  3. List the strategies you’ve used successfully to develop team spirit, to stop teasing/bullying, to acknowledge improved performance or to promote the values that underpin your business.
