This IDEAL CLIENT WORKSHEET gives you the chance to think in more detail about your ideal customer – or avatar. 

This can be crafted from reflecting on the favourite clients you have, either individually or as a combination.

Or it can be dreamed up from the type of person you’d love to work with in the future.

What do your ideal clients have in common?

Spend some time thinking about these commonalities. Really dive into it in a lot of detail if you can.

The more you can know and understand your ideal client, the more you’ll be able to step into their shoes, and think like them. This will help you find them, talk with them, and connect with them in a way that makes them feel seen and heard.

It may feel silly, or like you’re plucking ideas out of nothing. Or your ideal client is the same as every other residential builder’s.

However, start somewhere. There is no right or wrong here. It’s the exercise that’s important. Over time, you’ll be surprised how much you can learn about your ideal client, that ultimately helps you run your business better to serve them.

The goal: Define and get to know your ideal client so well, you build your business to serve them brilliantly, and you end up working with people you love to work with every day.
