WEBINAR CHAT:
13:00:57 From Gavin : Hi guys
13:32:16 From Peter Claridge : What program are you using to do that schedule?
13:39:48 From Justin and Sandra : How do you account for price rises since building those older homes? (Price rises from suppliers etc)
13:40:03 From Peter Claridge : Do you get any client confidentiality complaints by open booking the project costs?
13:49:36 From Travis : if you have only done a couple of jobs but they aren’t the spec you want to target can you still use them as a base to start with?
13:56:03 From chrisfroggatt : If part of the PAC Process is providing a detailed quote, how do you differentiate this from a builder charging for a quote.
13:56:06 From Travis : awesome thanks
13:58:00 From Greg Alexander : Do you use any takeoff software for your material schedules?
14:06:40 From Greg Alexander : I have all the trades price the work, but the suppliers particularly the merchants who do do a takeoff wont guarantee the quantitys and they often mess them up as thier qs’s dont really seem to understand renovations/additions particularly, if we used thier materials we’d lose money pretty much every time
14:07:55 From Dave Maurer : I’ve found Greg they basically just outsource this abroad and stuff it every time and have no idea how to build a house
14:08:53 From Peter Claridge : If we use a QS, it’s ‘measure twice, cut once’. We do the 2nd measure in house very carefully.
14:17:47 From Doecke’s. : I gotta go guys. Thanks heaps! Appreciate all of your expertise and knowledge.
14:25:04 From reneebond : Thanks Amelia & Duayne. Great work and looking forward to implementing more processes for our business. Always great to listen to you and learning more. Have a great week.
14:25:51 From Daniel : thank you very much.
14:25:54 From Gavin : Thanks guys
14:25:54 From Greg Alexander : Thanks guys
14:25:56 From Jake Watts : Thanks!
14:25:59 From Neil Myburgh : Thanks
14:26:00 From George McGarry : Thanks guys
