14:02:54     From Dave Maurer : I guess for me charging for quotes it all comes back to runs on the board for me. Having only completed a couple of new builds I feel as though any new opportunities to cost unique projects is as much of a learning experience for me also to get more congruent on figures and costs to become quicker in the process. New Architects will always want to see these past projects but I feel as though I need to move past more mental hurdles first until I’ve got some more years under my belt

14:06:30     From Ross Freiberg : I feel exactly the same Dave.  The designer can be a huge ally in helping you through the process

14:06:55     From Matt Menichelli : dave, doesn’t matter how many blokes youre pricing against, if you’re the only builder that shows you actually care about the build, chances are youre in the front running to win the job

14:10:45     From Travis Griffiths : I’m feeling more and more confident the more I hear. this process is a protection for those with less experience because you will have time to go through and be sure everything is covered.
