Supporting Oneself and Others Through Grief and Loss with Kurt Everard, TIACS
Life is filled with several different forms of loss but things around us will not stop. We will still have to cope and function in areas such as work and family.
With this in mind, it is crucial that we revisit and continue our discussion from previous sessions to ensure that we have some form of framework to turn to in times of need.
For many, it can be an uncomfortable feeling to support others through their grief. Undoubtedly it is a tough subject to approach so we will also have a discussion on some approaches that can be taken so we can provide the best level of support within our networks.
My goal is to provide you with some tools and resources that will help you to navigate through your grief and loss journey with resilience and strength. Through this presentation, you will gain a better understanding of the grieving process and feel empowered to support yourself and others through difficult times.
Learning Objectives: from this session, you will learn about:
- Increased awareness of the grief process including healthy and unhealthy forms of grieving
