Tools for Managing Anger and Anxiety with Kurt Everard, TIACS

Picture yourself on the highway and someone cuts you off. What would your reaction be? Anger? Frustration? … Fair enough.

Picture yourself in a situation where you’ve had some big bills coming out of the account and not much coming in. How would you feel? Anxious? Stressed? … Fair enough.

But there are levels to this. Anger and anxiety are innate human emotions. It is unrealistic to think that we will never experience them. We need them, on a level, to survive day-to-day but what happens when we lose our grip on them and can no longer manage them in a healthy manner?

This session focuses on these commonly linked emotions.

Learning Objectives: from this session, you will learn about:

  1. Kurt’s common framework for supporting clients who present with anger and/or anxiety
